Main Goals:
- Finish Lesson 1 grammar + move to Lesson 2
- Boost output: speaking, writing
- Simulate life in Japan through sounds, apps, and tasks
- Shadowing: Get your Japanese rhythm and 音感 (onkan)
🕒 TOTAL STUDY TIME: 5.5–6.5 hours
🧭 PLAN BREAKDOWN
1. 📘 Minna no Nihongo Lesson 2 – Jump Start
Time: 90 minutes Materials: Main Book, Translation Notes
✅ New Grammar:
- これ / それ / あれ / この / その / あの
- ~ですか? / ~のN
- そうです / 違います
🧠 How to drill it:
- Read 会話 3x out loud
- Practice point-and-say drills: pick 5 items in your room → “これはペンです。”
- Use physical objects, label them if needed!
✅ Write: 5–10 short, useful question/answer pairs ✅ Speak: Practice with yourself or Shadowing app
2. 🧠 Vocabulary + Listening + Kanji
Time: 75 minutes Materials: Anki, YouTube, Notebook
- Anki N5 deck (add Lesson 2 vocab) – 50 reviews
- Shadowing Vol.1 (Track 1–4) → repeat out loud
- Kanji: Start first 10 from N5 (一〜十、人、日、本)
- Write each kanji 5x + 1 simple sentence
✅ Tip: Use whiteboard or sticky notes to label room items in Japanese.
3. 🎧🗾 "Live in Japan" Immersion Block
Time: 60 minutes total (split through day)
Simulation Tasks:

🎧 Listen: Train announcements (JR East or Tokyo Metro) while doing chores or resting

🧭 Walk-around Drill: Imagine you're at a station:
- 見て: Signs in Japanese
- 聞いて: Announcements
- 言って: 自分で言ってみよう – “すみません、○○駅はどこですか?”
✅ Add to fun loop:
- Change your phone language to Japanese (if comfortable)
- Use Japanese weather app (ex: tenki.jp)
- Try speaking only Japanese to yourself for 30 min block ("monologue time")
4. ✍️ Writing & Speaking Output
Time: 60 minutes
Tasks:

- Use what you’ve learned (~は~です、これは~です)
- Example: 「今日は日本語を勉強しました。楽しかったです。」

💡 Bonus Task – Anime Challenge 🎌
- Watch an anime without subs (or Japanese subs only)
- Pick 3 phrases you recognize → write them down → try to use them later
Tomorrow (Day 4): We'll finish Lesson 2, expand output, start listening comprehension training, and build stronger fluency with simulated roleplays (e.g. shopping, convenience store, asking directions).
