🧭 PLAN BREAKDOWN

1. 📘 Minna no Nihongo Lesson 2 – Jump Start

Time: 90 minutes Materials: Main Book, Translation Notes

✅ New Grammar:

• これ / それ / あれ / この / その / あの
• ～ですか？ / ～のN
• そうです / 違います

🧠 How to drill it:

• Read 会話 3x out loud
• Practice point-and-say drills: pick 5 items in your room → “これはペンです。”
• Use physical objects, label them if needed!

✅ Write: 5–10 short, useful question/answer pairs ✅ Speak: Practice with yourself or Shadowing app

2. 🧠 Vocabulary + Listening + Kanji

Time: 75 minutes Materials: Anki, YouTube, Notebook

• Anki N5 deck (add Lesson 2 vocab) – 50 reviews
• Shadowing Vol.1 (Track 1–4) → repeat out loud
• Kanji: Start first 10 from N5 (一〜十、人、日、本)
• Write each kanji 5x + 1 simple sentence

✅ Tip: Use whiteboard or sticky notes to label room items in Japanese.

3. 🎧🗾 "Live in Japan" Immersion Block

Time: 60 minutes total (split through day)

Simulation Tasks:

• 🎧 Listen: Train announcements (JR East or Tokyo Metro) while doing chores or resting

• 🧭 Walk-around Drill: Imagine you're at a station:

  • 見て: Signs in Japanese
  • 聞いて: Announcements
  • 言って: 自分で言ってみよう – “すみません、○○駅はどこですか？”

✅ Add to fun loop:

• Change your phone language to Japanese (if comfortable)
• Use Japanese weather app (ex: tenki.jp)
• Try speaking only Japanese to yourself for 30 min block ("monologue time")

4. ✍️ Writing & Speaking Output

Time: 60 minutes

Tasks:

• Write your first Japanese mini diary (日記)

  • Use what you’ve learned (～は～です、これは～です)
  • Example: 「今日は日本語を勉強しました。楽しかったです。」

• Record yourself reading your 日記

• Optional: Post on HelloTalk + ask for correction!
